Intake Testing Important Note
Students who register
and who are scheduled to take the intake TABE or CASAS test must arrive on time to be admitted into the testing rooms.
Reschedule
Late students will be required to reschedule their intake testing.
The Guidance Department
The Guidance Department is located in room 201 in the main building. Guidance
is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm
Monday thru Thursday and 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays.
How do you get
started?
Visit 12th Grade Options.
Volunteers Intranet
Only
If you are a volunteer,
you need to login
and get credit for your hours. Type in the AEC
student username as follows: username@palmbeach.k12.fl.us
You must type in the entire
student user name. There is no password.
Steps to Getting into the ABE/GED Class
1. Student has to be at least 16 years old and withdrawn from public
school
2. Student may speak with a counselor before making an appointment
2. Student comes into the Guidance Office in room 201 with a picture
ID and makes an appointment for a placement test
3. Student attends orientation and testing
4. Student is scheduled for classes in the next available.
session
5. Student picks up a schedule in Guidance
6. Student begins ABE/GED classes
